The Nature Museum is where you can discover the mysteries of nature up close. Located in Lincoln Park, the Nature Museum is a natural oasis, helping urban dwellers to connect to the natural world through scientific learning and environmental programs. The museum staff advances scientific understanding by bringing outreach education programs to Illinois public schools, hosting science workshops for teachers, and offering lectures, field trips, weekend workshops and other special programs for children and adults.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–4:30 pm;
Saturday–Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm

Closed: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. All holidays are subject to change without notice.

Take CTA: Take the Northbound 151 Sheridan (or the 156 LaSalle on weekdays) to the Southeast corner of Fullerton Parkway and Stockton Drive. Walk north across Fullerton, then east to the main entrance on  Cannon. The 77 Belmont bus stops out front during museum hours.
