Swing around Pier Park on the “Wave Swinger” thrill ride, towering nearly forty feet over a pond of water. This exhilarating forty-eight seat swing ride lifts visitors fourteen feet in the air and whisks them around past unique lakeside views.

Hours: May 1–October 31 (weather permitting):
Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 am–10:00 pm; Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am–midnight
Closed: May be closed major U.S. holidays

Take CTA: Buses #29 (State Street), #65 (Grand Avenue), #56 (Milwaukee Avenue), #66 (Chicago Avenue), #120 (Northwestern/Wacker Express), and #121 (Union/Wacker Express) serve the Navy Pier. #124 Navy Pier Express run from Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center on weekends.

Free Trolley: The Illinois-Grand Corridor Transportation Management Association (TMA) offers free daily trolley service between Navy Pier and State Street along Grand Avenue and Illinois Street. For more information, visit www.tylin.com/chicago/tma.
