The Museum of Science and Industry is the place to see, feel, and experience the wonders of science.  Experience a simulated take-off and landing on a real 727 jet. Create your own toy top with the help of robots working in an automated toy factory. Learn the secrets of DNA and witness baby chicks peeking through their shells.   Travel to far-away places in the Museum’s Omnimax® theater, Chicago’s only five-story, domed, wrap-around movie screen.  Learn the amazing story of the U-505 submarine (a National Historic Landmark and the only German U-boat captured in World War II) in a 35,000-square-foot exhibit featuring more than 200 artifacts and dynamic interactives.  Purchase an on-board tour ticket to see what life was like for the crew. Fourteen acres of hands-on exhibits await you at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry!   Located at 57th Street and Lake Shore Drive.
